I wasnt saying I wanted one to be at Cool Crest, I was saying someone else had already submitted to host one at CC.. I'm all for the "%&*$ a tourney at CC" I hate that place.

That's Cody... the big guy we used to play with at Lunar Bowl and Eastglen.

And yeah right on him winning... KC represents some of the best in the nation at ITG, so there will be no problem with us "elitists" cleaning house.

I've never been to eastglen, and im pretty sure im going to have to change it after speaking with umm...some person from here, he was talking about chainging it which makes sence, ill get ahold of ryan, and i can make something work, i wasnt planing on playing, for one, im no where near good enough, cause anyone i played with at Lunar bowl, they where better then me lol

thats one reason i wanted to run it...
i knew i couldnt win, so might as well run it..
but yea good times
i can change the place still

Hmm...Nascart for sure.

Dedicateds > all

I'll put in a note that I'd run one at Nascart.

PP has better surroundings for a good tourney location, but with out the dedicated..

It's pretty funny how big the influence a dedicated has. I don't blame ya though, they pretty much speak for themselfs after you play on it once.

I'm gonna miss them huge %&*$ projectors at PP ;-; Hopefully I can get somethin setup so we can still have another screen to look at.

Is there still enough interest in didder to run another ITG/DDR event?

I'd give my vote for having it on the dedicated at Nascart. I personally wasn't horribly impressed with the dedicated machine, but it's a machine and a location that we've never had a tournament at before, so I think we should at least give it a try.

But defintely NOT at CC. I personally can't stand playing anything dance game related at CC, and I sure as hell don't want to have, or be a part of running another tournament at CC.

I say we do it at NC. Anyone see the prize list yet for the finals in Las Vegas?

1st Place:
A Pump It Up: In The Groove 2 Dedicated Cabinet

2nd Place:
$1,000

3rd Place:

Also, the BBC will be filming the tournament as part of a documentary on In The Groove they're producing. Put on your best game face.

I certainly took my sweet time figuring out if I felt like doing this or not, but, in the end, I figured I might as well give it a shot.

I sent in a request for tournament validation and the prize package, and if this goes down, it'll be HELLA soon, so be ready folks.

Most likely, it'll be Sunday, October 30th, because Saturday is a high volume day of business, and most of us will be working, and Monday is Halloween. So, plan on the 30th, for those of you going.

Rules will be simple, and I'll make a new thread for it.
