So what's the status on the machine...got it working yet? Plan to be up there on the 30th to pick up my girlfriend from the airport, so I might as well drop by if it's up and running and show her what I enjoy doing when I get the chance...lol!

Possibly. Our new motherboards are on their way so now it's just a waiting game. My advice that I've been telling everyone is to CALL AHEAD. 913-390-9993. I will post an update tomorrow as well. We are seriously trying our hardest to get this thing up and running 100% again and we are super sorry for it being down. The good thing is, it won't be 3 months like last year.

As of this morning, it's still down. Shipments usually don't come until around 1-2pm and you can be that it'll be installed as soon as it comes. Best advice would be to call 913-390-9993

After a mess of boards apparently being delivered and nobody there to pick them up resulting in them being shipped back to California, me getting pissed off and buying a board for myself, and a mix of other things, It *should* be working today. My personal parts are on their way and should be installed later today. As always though, CALL AHEAD.

A short update - Snow delayed my board until after I had left for the store so tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there guys.

On a completely unrelated note. How good is Street Fighter 3: Third Strike? We recently came across a board we have had for ages (And didnt know about) and are thinking about swapping out the Soul Caliber with it. Thoughts and opinions?

Third Strike is a great game.

If you know anything about the fighting game world, you may have heard of EVO. EVO is the biggest gaming tournament in the world, and they still play SF3 3S as a featured game every year. Soul Caliber on the other hand, had it's latest installment release and flop in the same year.

Go for 3S. Can't say it'll bring in any new business though. All the fighting gamers in KC are console players.

Yeah, SC has been on the downfall, earnings wise so why not change it out?

In other news, ITG IS WORKING NOW! We have had a HELL of a time. Got the boards in, swapped them, RAM went bad. So right now its running off 512mb of RAM (Whereas its usually running 2GB). If you have any video lag issues, please let the person at the counter know and they should take care of it for you. In addition to this, OITG has sort of an overdrive for the BGVideos built in. If the machine doesn't have enough RAM for the videos to run without lagging arrows, videos won't play (With the exception of songs with dedicated videos). My main point is that random movies aren't running due to low RAM amounts which should be fixed soon. So if thats a major huge issue to you, Sorry =\

Bah, even my parents are seeing more arcades than me haha. They were on their way to the Johnson County Historical Museum and happened to find PowerPlay, which of course they hadn't heard of (and I still haven't been to). So there's a giant inflatable monkey castle and a 2-player Tetris game? o.o

Pump it Up has been having some harddrive issues so it's back at Game Zone for the time being. We also just got in one of our Mario Kart Arcade GP cabinets to play. Fun game :)

Pump is up and running. Mario Kart is as well. Also just got in a Killer Instinct 2 and Maximum Force. We have a Time Crisis 2/Twin and a few other games coming back from our Oklahoma store. Enjoy.

Little bit of a change, we currently don't have the Maximum Force anymore. The Soul Calibur was scheduled to go to the Oklahoma store but the cabinet broke in the process (It's still out on the floor, playable) so the Maximum Force went in its place.
